Sometimes when moisture on one side of a cutting board (the top) is allowed to dry, while the other side (the bottom) absorbs moisture, it can cause warping. Rubber feet eliminates this problem by allowing air to circulate around the entire board, by lifting it above wet counter-tops and preventing saturation.
Rubber feet also helps gripping of the surface and keeps the cutting board from moving/sliding.
