Description
Description
This 1/2 inch rubber plug seals a 1/2" diameter hole, pipe end, or drain opening with a simple push fit. The tapered solid-rubber stem (1" long x 1/2" diameter) compresses into the opening and holds by friction — no threads, no adhesive, no tools — making it the fast fix for plugging holes in tanks, lines, panels, and fixtures.
Common Uses
Capping open 1/2" pipe and tube ends, sealing drilled holes in tanks and sinks, temporary 1/2" drain plug for testing and winterizing, blocking lines during pressure tests, masking holes during painting or powder coating, and sealing unused mounting holes in equipment.
Sizing
Measure the hole or pipe inside diameter — this plug fits 1/2" openings snugly. Other diameters from 11/32" to 19/32" and beyond are in the rubber hole plugs & stoppers collection, with sizing help in the rubber plug size guide. For lined pass-through holes (wire protection), use a rubber grommet instead. Plumbers and maintenance teams: bulk pricing available.
