2" Inside Diameter (ID) Rubber Grommets

Every grommet on this page has a 2" inside diameter (ID), the clear opening left for whatever passes through it. A 2" inside diameter is a common pick for passing several cables at once, a 1-1/2" PVC or flexible hose, or a bundle of wiring through a cabinet, enclosure or vehicle panel. The 4 styles here fit panel holes of 2-1/4", 2-3/8" or 2-1/2", with groove widths of 1/8", 3/16" and 1/4", so you can match both the hole you drilled and the thickness of the material.

How to size a 2" ID grommet. Start with the item going through: measure its outside diameter, or the widest point of any plug or fitting that has to pass, and make sure it clears 2". Next, measure the hole with calipers; the grommet should be listed as fitting that exact hole size, because the groove has to sit tight against the edge. Last, measure the panel thickness and choose a groove width equal to it or slightly wider. If the panel is thicker than the widest groove listed, drill to a larger hole size instead and step up in ID. Searching by hole size rather than opening? Use the "fits holes" link below.
