How to choose. Measure the footprint you have room for, then decide how much lift you want: taller feet give more clearance and isolation, shorter ones keep the item low and steady. Heights on this page: 1-1/4" and 1-7/8". This size comes in styles with a metal washer molded into the recess, so the screw head bears on steel instead of tearing through the rubber and plain rubber styles that take a screw and your own washer, or construction adhesive. Use a pan-head or washer-head screw that fits the recess and is long enough to bite at least 1/2" into wood; our screw chart lists the right screw for each foot.
